DAVID & LAYLA is unique by being Official Selections not only at regular film festivals but also at 'Conflict Resolution' and 'Human Rights', and at 'Romantic' and 'Amour' 'film festivals. See Film Festivals

First festival his film was invited to was 'Conflict Resolution', the second a 'Human Rights' festival co-sponsored by HRW- Human Rights Watch of NY. Since then the film has been invited by 16 regular international film festivals in the USA and abroad, winning 5 Awards.

From Political Fests to Romantic Fests: A Guinness Book of World Records?

David & Layla is in Competition at both Tahiti Romantic Film Festival in November 2007, and at 23rd Annual 'Le Festival International du Film d’Amour de Mons' in Belgium.

Probably some record to move from ‘Political’ to ‘Amour’ fests via some 16 regular int'l film fests including Sao Paulo/Brazil, Avignon/France…, Stockholm, London, Berlin, Jerusalem JFF….plus Ashdod/Israel “Love” film festival last April which filmmakers could not attend due to clash with Philadelphia….
